This role is an excellent opportunity to join the Patient Services Team and to develop a role in supervising staff in both the Case Note Store and Clinic Prep.

This will offer excellent experience for future career progression in patient administration.

The day-to-day management of these two areas will be led by the Coordinator but supported by a Team Leader and Supervisor.

The aim of the overall department is to ensure that appropriately prepared case notes are available for all outpatient attendances and for emergency admissions.

We are looking for a full-time member of staff but would also consider applicants wishing to work four days per week for 30 hours.

The main duties of the job are to support the Coordinator and Team Leader as follows:

  • Day-to-day supervision of staff to ensure that all teams are supported in locating, preparing, and providing case notes for all outpatient attendances and emergency admissions.
  • Recruitment and selection of new staff
  • Ensure induction and training of staff in liaison with departmental trainers.
  • Reporting sickness absences and conducting backtowork interviews.
  • Prepare and adapt staff rotas.
