Welder / Fabricator

Salary:
£16.12 per hour
Holidays: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.45am until 4.30pm and Fridays 7.45am until 3.15pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and two, 15 minute paid breaks, taken am & pm, per day.

Due to company progression and growth, we are currently seeking an Welder / Fabricator to join our team, based in our Fabrication Workshop in Tottington, Bury.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing modern business, with the possibility of future career progression, for a self motivated applicant.
Essential requirements:
- Be from a fabrication and welding background, with an NVQ level 2, minimum.
- Read and work from technical drawings unsupervised.
- Hold full UK Driving licence.
- Be proficient in TIG, MIG and MMA welding, a weld test will be required during interview.
- Experience of related engineering plant and machinery
- Work on own Initiative
- Reliable and Punctual
- Be able to weld all materials types and thicknesses
- CSCS card
- Hold or have previously held welding codings.
- Ability to use overhead crane and forklift truck.
- Knowledge of water treatment works
- Good understanding of structural steel/platforms
You must also be able to work within a team and thrive under pressure, the environment in which you will work is very fast paced.
