    About the Role

    As part-time teacher and programme lead within the Health and Social Care team, you will support delivery of Level 2 and 3 Health, Education and Care courses. You will plan, deliver and assess engaging teaching and learning activities, ensuring students achieve academic success and progress toward future careers. This role supports a vibrant department and offers the opportunity to transition from industry practice to teaching.

    Essential Skills

    • Appropriate degree and a teaching qualification desirable; willingness to work toward a teaching qualification will be considered.
    • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Prior experience in the health sector.
    • Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset to support all students.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of BTEC and T level specifications and requirements.

    Desirable

    • Knowledge of employer contracts for industry placement opportunities.
