Acre is working with one of the leading global banks to help them hire a Director of Sustainable Finance in the front office team.

This team supports clients in their Net Zero journey while helping the bank reduce its financed emissions.

You will be responsible for:

Supporting clients in their transitions journey by working closely with sector teams to develop sustainable finance strategies at a sector and client level
Developing origination strategies for sectors and key clients and driving the execution
Providing clients with innovative sustainable finance solutions, supporting frameworks, ESG advisory and ESG ratings
Positioning the bank as a leader in sustainable finance solutions by providing thought leadership, preparing marketing material and pitch books
Developing good relationships with clients and sponsors; managing external stakeholder relationships with industry bodies, rating agencies, external advocacy groups and regulators
Continuously upskilling the team on sustainable finance trends and best practices
Good experience in Sustainable Finance front office roles, preferably with some experience in developing solutions for clients in hardtoabate sectors
Experience in working closely with product, advisory and net zero solutions teams to launch innovative products and solutions
Good knowledge of emerging trends in sustainable finance, including regulatory expectations and industry guidelines
