Page Personnel are wanting to speak to transnational finance professionals who are looking to move into an Accounts Assistant role.


Client Details
My client is a growing company which have been in business for 100 years in the Manufacturing industry. The company is currently within growth and have many upcoming exciting projects planned.

They are based just outside of Leeds city centre (with a shortwalk from there to the site), they offer free parking and study support within this job role.

My client is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to join their team in Leeds.

Working within a small team the role is varied and busy, you will support both the Accounts & admin functions.

Working to assist the finance team in maintainingledgers, data input and payroll preparation, you will also support the HRBP with general administrative tasks.

This job role will be working from the office, full time and 5 days a week.


Description

  • Process purchase orders & invoices delivery note matching, coding & input data
  • Check for discrepancies and query, liaise with relevant depts & suppliers
  • Sales ledger invoicing process
  • Credit control
  • Chasing Order Acknowledgements
  • Checking delivery dates
  • Preparing RFQs
  • Payroll preparation
  • Ordering stationery & office consumables
  • Reception duties, inc meet & greet and assist in meeting preparations
  • Compiling & maintaining paper, digital & electronic employee data using HRIS (Breathe)
  • Induction preparation & onboarding contracts & handbook
  • Assist in the Performance Appraisals preparation
  • Assist in the review and updating staff learning & development programmes
  • Arrange training both internal & external
  • Assist in arranging social events

Profile

  • Experience in accounting software
  • Proven work experience of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable functions
  • Proficient in Excel/ Word & Outlook
  • Experience of working in a similar role, preferably engineering or manufacturing
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent levels of literacy
  • Flexibility
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Strong administrative skills.
