Do you want to deliver the highest levels of Visitor Experience to patrons in our iconic venues? Bradford Theatres are seeking to expand our Casual Front of House team.

We pride ourselves on being welcoming, inclusive and accessible theatres, putting the visitor at the heart of everything we do.

The Front of House Staff are fundamental to the smooth operation of our theatres and sales points, ensuring all visitors have an enjoyable, safe experience and are inspired to return.

We are looking for enthusiastic people, who share the theatres' values and can work as part of a team to deliver a first-class visitor experience that matches the quality of the work on our stages.

The team works across either our three city centre venues or our venue in Ilkley (though some work across both if that is preferred), with a combined capacity of over 3500 seats.

BRADFORD CITY CENTRE:

  • The Alhambra Theatre is recognised nationally as one of the largest professional receiving venues, playing host to a wide variety of shows, ranging from musicals, drama, opera, ballet, international dance and of course the annual pantomime.
  • St George's Concert Hall is one of the best acoustic concert venues around, hosting a varied programme ranging from an international orchestral season, rock concerts to children's shows and comedy seasons.
  • The Studio Theatre is a versatile performance and rehearsal venue hosting comedy and presenting small scale theatre productions, rehearsals, exhibitions, and meetings.

ILKLEY:
  • Located in the heart of the picturesque town of Ilkley, King's Hall and Winter Gardens is a stunning spot to enjoy live entertainment and the perfect location for weddings and social functions.

Front of House staff work on a casual basis; however we ask for staff to give a minimum availability of 3 shifts per week.

Shifts offered will generally be evening work from Monday to Saturday, with some matinee's mid-week or on Saturday's. Occasional Sunday work may also be available.

We require staff to be available throughout the year including busy holiday periods (i.e., Christmas & Easter) and bank holidays.

Performances are generally worked and paid in 3.5-hour shifts. Applicants must be 18 years old or over and have a good command of both spoken and written English. Staff uniform will be provided.
