Our client, a multinational professional services consultancy is seeking a Senior Software Developer to undertake work on exciting and innovative new projects within their Tax Solutions Team.

This role sits within their entrepreneurial part of the firm andoffers a different more dynamic and agile culture to traditional consultancy.

Leveraging on the heritage of the parent consultancy and intellectual capital within, they build their own products and solutions which provide the kind of change that adds genuinelasting value to their client's business.


You will work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions for the Tax practice using Agile methodology.

The role is permanent, full time, based out of the Birmingham office with occasional domestic travel. Hybrid working is offered with a minimum of one day per week in the office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing your own workload and deliverables as well as those of the development team as a whole.
  • Bringing deep experience of the latest technology platforms and tools to bear on innovative products and offerings and coaching/mentoring other team members.
  • Reviewing quality by thorough testing and code review throughout the team.
  • Leading knowledge sharing, peer review and group meetings.

Experience required:

  • Leadership experience/setting up new teams/leading new teams.
  • SQL Server or MongoDB


  • HTML

  • Azure
  • Software design and architecture
