Responsibilities in your new role as Senior Accounts Assistant

Overseeing daily financial transactions such as banking, bookkeeping, and associated activities
Handling accounts receivable and accounts payable records
Finalising monthend and yearend reports, incorporating accruals, prepayments, and journal preparations
Assessing overheads to offer insights on financial performance, efficiencies, and potential risks
Performing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring precise monthly payroll administration
Examining cash flow and contributing to financial planning efforts
Compiling and submitting quarterly VAT returns, and overseeing HMRC procedures
