Your role will initially be based at Companies House, until we relocate to our new base in early 2024 to CP2, Welsh Government Offices, King Edward VII Avenue Cardiff CF10 3NQ

Are you the dynamic and motivated colleague that the Welsh Risk Pool is seeking to support or busy Once for Wales Concerns Management Team?

This role will join a very experienced OfWCMS which has a strong reputation across all NHS Wales health bodies.

You will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of the Datix Cymru and Civica Experience Wales systems and be involved in providing a range of training programmes for Local System Leads and Users.

The role will be responsible for supporting the busy Once for Wales Concerns Management System Central team

You will assist in the provision of training for the Once for Wales Concerns Management System software products. This will involve technical training and user-level training as required.


The succesful post holder will also be required to support the senior team to facilitate networks, workstreams and task & finish groups coordinated by the Welsh Risk Pool.


Coordinating change and development requests, the post holder will undertake design & build tasks and troubleshoot problems - escalating issues to the supplier as required.


With a strong background in the governance and / or quality sector, you will assist in the design and development of reports and dashboards to maximise the information that is drawn from the system.

Welsh Risk Pool is a mutual body responsible for the reimbursement of the costs of litigation to member health bodies across Wales.

The Welsh Risk Pool is part of the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership.


The Once for Wales Concerns Management System is hosted by the Welsh Risk Pool and consists of a Central Team who are responsible for the oversight of all systems.

A number of groups, networks and workstreams have been established to support the development, roll out and sustainability of the programme.


The Welsh Risk Pool manages a number of development, awareness and improvement programmes aimed at reducing avoidable harm to patients, staff and visitors who use NHS Wales services, and to reduce the litigation faced by NHS Wales bodies.
