Description
I am seeking a reliable and friendly Support Worker/ PA to assist me in my daily life. I am living with a neuromuscular condition and need support with personal and health care. You will be part of a developing care team working in my family home. In this role you will help to create a positive atmosphere to assist and support my autonomy.You will be assisting with all aspects of my daily life including my medical needs and so the role carries responsibilities.
This position also includes supporting me on trips out locally and also on holidays in the UK. It is essential that you have a full driving licence and are willing to drive a wheelchair adapted vehicle.Great support workers can offer me the independence I want and can enable me to access new opportunities and freedoms.
The role involves the use of Bi Pap, cough assist and PEG feeding. Experience in using ceiling track hoist, giving medication and delivering personal care is required.Bespoke training modules and shadow shifts are offered to all new team members to help you settle into the role.
There is also an opportunity to have additional training.
