The Role


As an interim Change & Transformation Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical guidance for our change management team.

This will include Portfolio and Project Management, PMO, Business Analysis, QA & Change Management and communication functions.

Our change portfolio is typically in the areas of technology, digital solutions, innovation and significantly impactful organisational change, projects can vary in scale and for this role day to day responsibilities will include.


  • Responsible for the executive change programme alongside our business leaders and change management team as part of the budget planning cycle.
  • Monitoring and reporting, at a Csuite and partnership level, our executive change programme throughout the year.
  • Overseeing and presenting strategic change roadmaps at senior executive and business unit forums.
  • Providing day to day leadership support to all members of our senior change management team; notably covering people, recruitment, financial and alignment to business strategy.
  • Ownership of the Change Management Office strategy and 3year development plan; including monitoring and reporting on business unit maturity.
  • Maintaining an operational role in the IT leadership team to ensure alignment and support between the functions.
  • This role forms a key part of change delivery transformation, enabling our capacity to serve the current needs of our portfolio as well as preparing to plan and change for the future. This role is an exciting and pivotal one, as you will drive and lead delivery of transformation objectives for our Change Management Office.
Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior management and stakeholders to create and implement comprehensive, realistic, and accurate plans aligned with Mazars goals.
  • Guide and support a senior team of change management professionals across multiple disciplines.
  • Create a positive work environment, encouraging team growth and development.
  • Provide accurate demand forecasting for efficient deployment of work and resources.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and distribute business reports, seeking feedback from business leaders and providing corrective guidance to the change management team.
  • Support planning, execution, and successful delivery of critical business processes across the Change Management Office & IT
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, monitor progress, and ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Reporting into the CTO, this role will function as primary point of contact for senior executive engagements relating to Change Management including COO & CFO.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Financial management experience and analytical skills
  • Experience running major project or programmes with responsibility for project managers, business analysts and other team members of change functions.
  • Financial experience with responsibility of budget spend £1m+
  • Experience of managing outsourced services
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrable ability to positively influence and challenge.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience in senior stakeholder engagement with ability to summarise, report and reach key decisions.
  • Strategic thinking and changedriving ability
  • A proven track record of change management with examples leading significant transformation portfolio.
  • Ideally experience of working in a partnership, professional services or regulated environment
