Hague Personnel are currently recruiting Ply Cutter Operators / Production Technicians for our prestigious worldwide manufacturing client based in Chadderton.

General duties to include:


  • Operating a Ply Cutting Machine to cut materials safely and efficiently
  • Inspect product where appropriate and isolate nonconforming products as required
  • Ensure all goods are properly marked, stored and logged on the system
  • Ensure unused raw materials are properly labelled and placed in the designated area
  • Coordinate with other departments where appropriate
  • Institute good housekeeping practices and clean areas at all times and ensure that the work area is ready for the next shift
  • Ensure the Company's Health and Safety Policy is adhered to at all times
  • To work within business guidelines and procedures.
  • Notify Production Shift Supervisor / Manager of any Safety Hazards
  • The above is a nonexhaustive list of duties, and you are expected to undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by your Production Shift Supervisor / Manager

Working Hours:


ROTATING SHIFT PATTERN
Monday to Friday 6am - 2.10pm and 2pm pm rotating weekly (38 hours per week)


Starting Salary:
£22,700 per annum (£11.49 per hour)


Duration:12 weeks temporary to permanent.


Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous CNC / Machine Operating experience
  • Ability to use computers
  • Physically fit as the role will involves being on your knees and leaning over to roll out materials
  • Ability to confidently use a tape measure to measure materials accurately
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good time management
  • Ability to multitask whilst jobs are being carried out
  • Flexible to work in other departments when needed
Interviews will be held direct with our client.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Pay:
From £11.49 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
