Description
Main Duties:
-
The paying of:
- Invoices on time taking into consideration cash flow requirements
- Salaries
- Monthly Expense Claims for Director and Staff, including analysing the VAT element, ensuring receipts are present and the amount is reasonable
- Petty Cash
The issuing of invoices for:
- All monies due to RioMed Limited
- Follow up of payments due to RioMed
- Working with the Business development team with quotes
- Working with our customer procurement/accounts personals in relation to monies due to RioMed
Salaries:
- April Inland Revenue Return
- Calculating monthly paid staff payments
Administration of Documented Processes:
- Sales
- Purchase and Payments
- Payroll
- Inland Revenue
- Methods of monitoring
Reports:
- Profit and Los Records monthly breakup of turnover, receipts, and major expenses
- Forecast Sales and Cost Projections
- Debtor followup
Data:
- Inputting all bank entries
- Reconciliation of sales etc
Analysis at end of each trading season of:
- Sales
- Costs
- Expense Claims
- Petty Cash
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Prep accounts for annual filing for accountant
- Accounts reconciliation as part of many of above.
Other Financial Management Duties:
- Managements accounts: specifically detailed monthly cash flow forecasts to managing directors
- Accounts Payable: Monthly payments, setting up and Managing payments plans, meetings with other financial members in other offices
- Expenses management
Information Security Awareness:
- To assist with various aspects of Information Security, including; reviewing documentation, policies & procedures and helping to conduct an audit
- To assist in an annual audit of Information Security alongside the committee
- To maintain an asset register in accordance with Information Security documentation
General:
- Perform any addition tasks as required by the Company Director consistent with the grade of the post.
- The postholder will be expected to keep up to date with changes in all aspects of the law relating to accounting/tax legislation which may affect RioMed Limited, although they will not be expected to have an indepth knowledge.
Person Specification:

ESSENTIAL:
- Minimum of 3 A
- Levels and 5 GCSEs or equivalent, experience with accounting software
- Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience;
- Qualifications AAT up to level 4 (book keeping)
- In depth knowledge of MS Excel and word
- Excellent telephone manner a letter writing and organisational skills
- Ability to manage effectively and prioritise a varied workload.
- Ability to interact well with other staff and willingness to assist as required
Desirable:
- Quick Book experience
- Degree Level qualification
- Ability to give guidance and lead when necessary
- Understanding of the NHS
- Long term experience of working with Accounts
