We are currently recruiting for an Associate to join our Commercial team in Bristol, London or Manchester.

This role would best suit a qualified Solicitor of 3-4 years' PQE with experience in commercial contracts gained from a private practice or public sector setting.

The role is offered on a fully flexible working basis to accommodate full or part-time hours.

Your Role:

As a key addition to the existing team, day to day you can expect to be involved with:

A broad and varied caseload of work covering complex contracts and agreements for local authorities, government and law enforcement agencies
Working collaboratively with Associates and Senior Associates in the team to meet tight deadlines and manage project work
Assist in managing and supporting trainees and apprentices in the team
Working closely with the Partners across each of our office locations in longterm strategy and development of the team

Your Skills and Experience:

You must be a Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with at least 2 years' PQE and commercial contracts expertise
A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be selfmotivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development, and an appetite for keeping uptodate with the latest developments in your practice area and sector focus
Understand your client's business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
Ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture
Current security clearance/willingness to gain clearance would be preferable
