The Role

Experience
At least 3 years' experience in similar roles.

A third level qualification in a related discipline (journalism, public relations, public affairs, politics) is preferable but not essential.
A welldeveloped Northern Ireland public affairs and media networks are essential.
Digital communications experience is a requirement.
Experience of developing and delivering multidisciplinary communications plans, including plans to support the delivery of specific projects.
Understanding of Northern Ireland's strategic and regional planning systems would be advantageous.
Previous experience of delivering communications to support energy or infrastructure projects would be beneficial.
A working understanding of project management would be advantageous.
Exceptional communicator and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, elected representatives, media, communities and other stakeholders.
Excellent written and oral communications skills and display sound communications judgement.
A resilient and flexible leader with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills along with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
