Description
We are looking for a communications coordinator to join the communications team at a company in the transport industry. They will be joining a dynamic, supportive team and employed to work fully remotely.


The role:

  • Assisting the communications team in implementing strategies and tactics across both our internal and external communications plans.
  • Supporting critical projects and campaigns, monitoring analytics and creating a regular pipeline of reports for the team to ensure continuous improvement across our Comms Channels.
  • Projects you support will include everything from arranging photoshoots to TV and supporting the team with a variety of other key business campaigns as the business continues its transformation journey.
  • Attending weekly PR and Internal Communications editorial meetings and updating our communications systems/ radar documents to reflect latest plans
  • Managing the content calendar to ensure timely, accurate and engaging content every day that helps to promote the company's goals, messages, tone and branding.
  • Producing weekly internal newsletters and colleague communications.
  • Posting content to internal and external channels as required including social media channels such as Twitter and Linked In.
  • Supporting the team by capturing and monitoring actions and agendas for the editorial meetings keeping the team on track, on plan and organised.
  • Monitoring and, with support and steer from the team, responding to incoming internal and external queries through the shared team mailboxes.
  • Providing support to the Internal Communications Manager and wider team for internal leadership events; and to the External Communications Manager for external PR events.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Supporting with PowerPoint and presentations as required for key events and stakeholder presentations.
  • Working with suppliers and agencies and ensuring our internal processes are completed in a timely manner, including raising POs and ensuring adherence to budgets etc.
Skills/Experience

  • Strong timemanagement, planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, with a broad range of stakeholders
  • A tenacious, 'can do' attitude with the ability to provide constructive challenge to ensure that jobs get done
  • This role will suit someone who wants to build up communication experience and wants to 'roll their sleeves up' with has a strong desire to develop and progress their career in communications over time.
