Here at Cordek Limited, we are looking for an individual to join our production team who shares our Company values, Honesty, Communication and Respect.

We are looking for an individual who will work on Bespoke products in our specialist finishing department, using a wide range of materials and employing different techniques to achieve top quality products and finishes for our customers.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Shift work and as and when required that include 20% and 40% shift premiums.

Responsibilities:

Basic finishing

You will work on finishing activities using sanding machines, sandpaper and hand finishing and crafting or edges to achieve a finish within the specified tolerance
You will build wooden frames in ply and timber working with hand saws, planners, jigs saws, disk saws, table saws, wall saws and a CNC wood router as required

Advanced finishing

You will read and follow technical drawings
You will work with Model board, glass fibre and wood to build complex moulds to create patterns and moulds for our customers.
You will work with jigs and fixtures and rubber products poured into moulds like Reckli/Ebalta
You will maintain the quality aspects of the production line from start to finish
You will use a FARO arm to check the dimensional accuracy of our product post machining and post finishing, prior to shipping and supply and appropriate reports or corrective actions internally or as confirmation of dimensional accuracy to our customers.

Excellent attention to detail and focus on crafting a fine finish on products
Keen to learn and develop themselves and their skills within a finishing environment
