Description

We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our team to be a part of the continual evolution of the Compendia system and rollout of our software to our clients.

This is a home working role that requires someone who can think on their feet,isn't afraid of a challenge and can communicate well across all areas of a business.

You will work under the guidance of Senior and Lead Implementation Consultants.

Working in partnership also with Business Analysts and the project management team to deliver complex implementations to customers from inception to handoff in an often fast-pacedenvironment.

Compendia is a configurable tool and the role of the Implementations Consultant is to configure the platform to provide solutions to customer needs.


As an Implementation Consultant you will:

  • Gather functional and business requirements from clients through workshops (online and in-person) and business analysis methodologies.
  • Document the output efficiently including the production of process maps.
  • Engage with other consultants and the Product team to refine and ensure the solution is achievable within budget and to spec.
  • Walk the customer through the solution and drive customer signoff.
  • Participate in delivering complex and/or large roll outs.
  • Provide support to customer test teams on functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and resolve issues, differentiating between bugs and changes.
  • Provide golive support, ensuring customer uptake and adoption is maximised.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders and internal stakeholders to ensure the product is best configured to meet the customer's business need.
The ideal Implementation Consultant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or demonstrate equivalent work experience
  • Recognised BA certification (BCS, IIBA, PMI or equivalent) preferred
  • Understanding of relational database ideas, and practical use of SQL to interrogate data
  • Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure concepts
  • Comfortable hosting and facilitating workshops with diverse groups of stakeholders, both remotely and in person
  • Good skills in MS Office & MS Visio (or other process mapping software)
  • Experience in configuring software solutions to customer requirements
  • Experience with IT Change management processes
  • Experience in a consulting role preferred
This is a 6 month contract role working Monday to Friday with full time hours. In return you will receive a pay rate of £500 per day inside IR35. This is a remote working role giving you the opportunity to work from home from anywhere within the UK.
