Purpose:


This role will be responsible for providing Standardised maintenance management to primarily TC equipment and when required other assets, the role will engage with all operational areas within Aggreko both Transactional and Projects, including major repair centers.


Accountability Level:
Experienced individual contributor (specialist operational/technical role, or experienced professional). Works independently, with limited supervision. Problems faced may be difficult but can be addressed within an established framework


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build & Maintain Maintenance related information for our Global Fleet including MLO and full life refurbishment.
  • Support the technical writer with the prioritisation and the creation of maintenance documentation.
  • Support new product introduction with operational readiness elements relating to maintenance standards and training content.
  • Work collaboratively with the Asset Performance analysts to provide technical expertise in the critical analyse of any efficiency opportunities inclusive of:
  • _ Condition based maintenance._
- _ Component life expectancy (MTBF)_
- _ Emerging asset Product design / quality issues._

  • Identify efficiency opportunities on incumbent fleet to optimise maintenance and improve reliability inclusive of OEM productivity.
  • Support In Service investigations in view of Warranty / Policy, Claims & Campaigns for Global Fleet.
  • As a team maintain regional engagement sessions with OEM's, Product management and Product quality to promote feedback and improvement opportunities ensuring accountability.
  • Technical adviser providing guidance on suitability of any proposed fleet movement inclusive of 'Ready to Rent' criteria to support fleet management decisions.
  • Provide trouble shooting guidance and support to all Technical Support desks relating to Power or Temperature Control equipment.
  • Adopting & communicating best practice across the region based on knowledge sharing across site / service visits.
  • Active participation in any new product build "Out of Box Audits" both internal or third party build.

Typical Experience:

  • Engineering degree qualification or has completed a full modern apprenticeship program with specialist diploma.
  • Electrical or Mechanical discipline
  • Multi skilled preferably.
  • Minimum 08 years' experience and fully conversant with temperature control equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Good English communication. Fluency in at least one addition European language would be advantageous.
Desired Skills

  • IT intermediate to advanced skills in all Microsoft Office and other technical packages as deemed necessary.
  • Multi skilled technical ability.
  • Project Management Skills take responsibility for planning, undertaking and delivering on projects. Need to be well organised, attentive to detail, able to set clear deadlines for providers and have the people skills to get the best from participants.
  • A good communicator, both written and verbal. Reports and correspondence conform to corporate writing standards and convey clear messages.
  • Creativity and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge and / or strong appetite for Community Management Activities on Social Media Platforms
  • Fault diagnosis skills.
  • Experience managing multicultural teams.
  • Data analysis careful analysis and interpretation and meaningful presentation to support actions and recommendations.
  • Able to travel internationally when required.
Location

  • UK or Europe prefered but flexible to other locations.
