Tabac is currently looking for new Kitchen Assistants to join their team in Exmouth Market. We are a French Bistro & Wine bar serving traditional plates with a large range of French wines.

This is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to enter the kitchen and learn and be a part of a fast growing restaurant.

As a member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards and assisting the chefs in a number of kitchen tasks.

The main role will be to support the kitchen by keeping the pots and dishes clean, appliances cleaned and the kitchen area clean and to assist in ensuring all safety procedures are maintained.

Other roles will include replenishing stock, prepping food, running food from the kitchen to the servers and updating kitchen logs.

There will be opportunities to learn about cooking and opportunities to cover the chefs roles in the future.

Pay:
£11.50 per hour

Hours:

The hours will mainly be in the evening 2-3 days a week ( busiest period being the evenings of Wednesday Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday day) Please see our opening hours below.

Opening hours:
Monday - Thursday 11am-11.30pm

Friday & Saturday 10am - Midnight

Sunday 10am
