As an Assistant Administration,_ _you'll thrive on supporting the Highways depots, for the provision of administrative and clerical support to 3 Highways Depots (Seacroft, Pottery Fields, Henshaw) including payroll documentation for highways operatives, goods ordering, administration of the requirements of the Traffic Management Act.


The Business Support Team carry out essential daily tasks to ensure our colleagues in the DLO's can deliver against our statutory duties as set out in the Highways & Transportation Act 1980 Section 41a.


An annual budget of £14M+ is spent on ongoing highway maintenance and repair, all these transactions will be processed through the Business Support Team.

About the role
The position is full time (37hrs) working in the depots, the post supports a frontline service. The working hours Monday - Thursday Friday.


As our next Assistant Administrative you will be part of a team responsible for monitoring of the administrative and clerical functions relating to Highways depots activities; deal with telephone enquiries, producing daily reports, maintaining, and updating computer records and files.


Our staff use a range of computer programmes and systems to support services which include those working with teams based across the council in several different administration roles.

You will be part of a small team responsible for monitoring of the administrative and clerical functions relating to Highways depots activities; deal with telephone enquiries, producing daily reports, maintaining, and updating computer records and files.
