Montessori Room Leader - Richmond

Paying up to £32,000
Full Time/40 hours*As Room Leader you will be passionate about working with children, watching them develop under your care and looking to continue your career with a reputable nursery committed to happiness of the children and staff.

They need dynamic, driven and committed individuals with a child centred approach.

Must have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years education or equivalent, be confident in leading a team of practitioners and have experience working in a similar role.

Montessori qualifications preferred.

They are paying a salary of up to £32,000 for a Level 3 Early Years qualified Nursery Montessori Room Leader/Room Manager.

Essential

Minimum Level 3 Montessori Pedagogy qualification (or other full and relevant Montessori qualification)

Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children

First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)

Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)

Duties:

Provide high-quality care and Montessori education to children aged 0-5

Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern

Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs

Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development

Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times

Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
