Job Title:
Finance Assistant
Job Summary:
Assisting the Finance Director and other Directors within the IPM team with the day to day running of the finance department.
Communicating with Landlords, tenants, clients, our suppliers, contractors and utility providers.Responsibilities & Duties:
- Work diligently and enthusiastically alongside the Directors and other team members to achieve company targets and aims.
- Reconcile bank statements to rent payments.
- Payment of and the recording of invoices.
- Assisting with property utility accounts, the payment of bills for them and recording relevant invoices etc.
- Assisting in processing payroll for the business
- Assisting with chasing rent payments
- Be an active part of the ongoing development and expansion of the company and associated planning.
- Provide a firstclass service to both landlords and tenants.
- Take part in any training appropriate to the position.
- Work to target times and communicate effectively with other team members, tenants and landlords.
- Be prepared to be a proactive team member, assisting with other duties and tasks where appropriate and necessary.
Experience, skills and attributes to include:
- Reliable, trustworthy and act with integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team in an office environment but with the ability to work with mínimal supervision when required
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, planning and customer service skills
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office and Outlook
