Description
Are you ready to take on the opportunity of your career and be part of something great?

Do you have what it takes to lead and develop a service fit for the 21 st century?

If so, we are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities and excellent clinical recovery skills to join our Theatre leadership team as a Recovery /PACU team Leader.

As a member of our senior team you will be part of the developing of our Theatre service, and it is an exciting opportunity and this role will play a key part of the overall reengineering of the way that the operating theatre services are being delivered to meet the demands of modern day healthcare.

Following a major review of the way that theatre services were being delivered, we have moved away from the traditional operating theatre structure, from the static teams, limited opportunities and the 'that's the way that it's always been done mentality'.

To a department of flexible teams, exciting opportunities, and a department of innovation and improvement.

To lead and manage a team within the department providing skilled support and supervision whilst ensuring that the patient is at the heart of theatre service delivery.

in addition to take charge of the coordination of the theatre department on a rotational basis.

We are a progressive and forward looking trust with ambitious plans to improve quality and integrate patient pathways through close collaborative working with our partners to deliver the quality of care we'd want for our family and friends.

More than 3,500 people work for the Trust - they tell us it's a great place to work, blending the busyness of a DGH with the benefits of working in a beautiful rural and unspoilt county like Herefordshire.

We can offer a great work-life balance and have a fine tradition of working with staff to help them achieve their full potential.
