Job Title:
Yard Worker


Duties:

• Steam cleaning and valeting machines
• Preparing machinery for painting (E.g. sanding down)
• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks
• Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed (Training can be provided if needed, please contact us for details)
• Organize and maintain inventory of materials
• Assist with the transportation of materials within the yard
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the yard area (Including; sweeping, deweeding, keeping the yard tidy)

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy objects
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Will use own initiative to get tasks done
• Excellent communication skills
