Description
We are currently working with an award-winning professional town planning consultancy.


Based in the city centre, the company has a much wider geographical coverage than South Wales, such as the South West, South East, London.


They have a very personal approach, working with both private and public sectors clients across multiple areas, including but not limited to residential, commercial, hotel, education, leisure and heritage assets.


The Role:


  • Conducting planning activities as directed by the Project Coordinator.
  • Comprehension and knowledge of project management and interdisciplinary working arrangements.
  • Advising clients on costs, reports and timescale of projects.
  • Managing and coaching the Planning Team.
  • Managing budgetary constraints imposed on projects/instructions and to work effectively within the constraints of the instruction.
  • Assisting the Managing Director in winning new business and shaping/exploring new and exciting directions for the business.

Essential Skills:


  • Degree and / or Masters in Town Planning.

Desirable Skills:


  • Demonstrating business development skills through effective client management, networking events and using planning expertise to identify short
- and long-term prospects.

  • Assessing projects for both risk and feasibility, inputting into company investment decisions.
  • Welsh language speaker.
