We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate graduate to join a school in New Addington as a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Specialist.
This is a full-time position that is set to start after February half term (Monday 20th February 2023).Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students on a 1 to 1 basis
- Holding interventions and providing support to students with SEMH needs
- Writing reports and providing updates on student progress
- Collaborating with therapists, teachers, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Identifying and addressing any SEMHrelated issues that may arise
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, education, social work)
- Passion for supporting students and making a difference
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs is desirable
