Technical Lead - Golang/PHP

Location:
Hybrid - Chiswick, London (once a week in office)

Salary:
Up to 125K


As the Technical Lead, you will manage a team of software developers across multiple offices in building industry-leading products using robust architectural practices and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose.

You will be responsible forthe quality and technical approach taken by developers, ensuring it is in-line with the company strategy.


WHAT YOU'LL DO?

  • Being a lead architect alongside the CITO to deliver on software solutions
  • Spending 80% of time coding in line with company's development strategy
  • Being the Scrum Master ensuring continuous delivery of deliverables as per agreed timelines
  • Innovating and solving complex problems using the latest technologies or design patterns across the group's stack
  • Producing accurate and detailed technical documentation and time estimations
  • Perform code reviews for senior developers in the team
  • Automation testing implementing test plans and having code coverage C.90% to avoid errors, break in functionality and rework by developers
  • Hire in new developers into the team
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team to evolve technology and digitalise processes to support egrowth strategy

WHAT YOU NEED?

  • Expert knowledge of PHP, Golang, React, CSS, HTML and MVC frameworks
  • Expert knowledge building microservices and event driven architectures
  • Expert knowledge building APIs
  • Expert knowledge of GIT
  • Extensive knowledge of CI/CD and test automation
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and AWS

WHAT WE'D LOVE

  • Have 10 years development experience and managing a versatile engineering team
  • Be analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
  • Be credible, confident and articulate, with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Deliver ideas clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • MSc in Computer Engineering or similar
