Role Summary
To underwrite structured asset finance deals, you will be evaluating, analysing and approving credit proposals and revisions.

You will be responsible for maintaining the portfolio through a consistent level of credit risk assessment and ensure adherenceto all policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

Make independent credit decisions within your own delegated authority whilst working closely with our internal team and external stakeholders
Underwrite cases within an agreed mandate considering customers risk
Ensure all required documents are received and checked before processing
Manage sanctioned proposals to pay out alongside other internal departments
Preparation of credit papers and report
Maintain close relationships with Relationship Managers, Internal Account Managers and other internal and external stakeholders

Skills required

Hold a current mandate of £250,000 or above:

Experience in Asset Finance
A solid understanding of financial ratios, credit reporting data, and experience in analysing financial statements
Application Scoring
Risk awareness
Regulatory standards awareness
Influencing skills (negotiation, persuasion, leadership)
