Global Health and Safety Ltd are UK's local manufacturers of healthcare products, established to manufacture and supply PPE equipment including medical face masks, elastic bandages, and compression therapy solutions.


As part of our growth, we have secured new premises in Milton Keynes, which brings with it this fantastic opportunity to join our team.

We are looking for a Machine Operator to work full-time at our warehouse in Kiln Farm.


As a Machine Operator, you must perform your duties in a safe manner with an awareness of individual responsibility for health and safety.


The key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximise efficiency
  • Ensuring smooth running of factory machinery and carrying out routine maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and/or fixing machines that have broken down
  • Carrying, replacing, ensuring enough raw materials are fed into the machines
  • Occasionally removing and packing finished products, material, trays, and boxes
  • Gaining a thorough knowledge of a wide range of factory machinery and how they work
  • Working in close collaboration with coworkers
  • Any other duties as and when requested
To be successful for this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail, standards, and quality
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and methodical way
  • Able to follow instructions and production schedules
  • Able to act quickly when a problem arises
  • To be able to work efficiently as part of a team
  • Ability to do repetitive work
  • Good understanding of English language
Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid lunch break, and 2 x 15 minutes unpaid breaks


Pay rate:
£13 per hour

All equipment is in a manufacturing environment and full PPE clothing will be provided.
