Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust are looking to recruit an IT Training Officer to join the IT Training Team.

The IT Training Team provide courses and support to staff on clinical IT systems used throughout the trust, in addition to Microsoft Office support.


We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills who is able to convey potentially complex scenarios in a variety of ways to ensure students understand and retain the topics being taught.

Ideally you should have existing training experience and a good all round knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of NHS clinical systems and operational processes is also a distinct advantage.


The IT Training Officer will be required to deliver standard classroom training as well as training / support sessions online (normally 1-1) via Microsoft Teams.

The role also requires you to manage student bookings and audit training that students have completed via an online Learning Management System (LMS).


The IT Training Team also play a key role in multiple induction sessions for various staff groups throughout the year, and the role will include supporting these sessions.
