Appetite4work is looking for hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team

We offer ongoing kitchen porter roles in Surrey, Sussex and Kent with several ongoing vacancies in Gatwick Airport


Responsibilities of a Kitchen Porter:


  • Washing up crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans
  • Helping put away deliveries
  • Simple veg prep such as peeling potatoes
  • Deep cleaning of the kitchen, walk in fridges and freezers
  • Sweeping and mopping at the end of each shift


The role of a kitchen porter involves some manual handling so you must be comfortable with lifting and moving things around.

You also will need to provide your own uniform ( Plain black polo t-shirt, black trousers, and Steel capped safety shoes).

We are only able to accept people with experience as a kitchen porter or similar (housekeeping, cleaning etc). You must be able to get to Gatwick via public transport for early shifts (6:30am) as there is no free parking available

Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£11.05 per hour
