Are you experienced in managing interface requirements between multiple disciplines within complex engineering projects? If you possess all the above and want to work within a unique environment, we want you to join us as our next Interface Management Lead at Hinkley Point C

The Opportunity
As we transition from Civil Works construction to the M&E installation phase, the management of interfaces becomes paramount.

In this newly created role, you'll spearhead the development of interface management arrangements within our licensee's side of the JDO (Joint Design Office), playing a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration throughout the project lifecycle.

This role will be based on site working at our Hinkley Point C site 3-4 days a week with flexibility of home working the other 1-2 days.

Depending on your location, there is also flexibility to work at our other sites including Aztec West, Bristol and our Satellite Delivery Centre.

What you'll be doing
As our next Interface Management Lead, your roles and responsibilities include

Support development of the Interface management plan and associated surveillance procedure.
Support the daytoday oversight of physical and functional interface management within the scope of JDO activities.
Support can be expected to be provided for activities such as the following:
Support development of working arrangements with JDO_DT Layout Team and M&E Interface management teams.
Support to Configuration Management Board for interface related issues for resolution.
Surveillance and monitoring the design interface and process interface management situation
Ensure adherence to external standards (e.g. ISO 9001:2015) and intelligent Customer requirements.
Support development of the continual improvement activities in the JDO.
Support to the JDO Integration Branch Manager as requested.

Who you are

To be suitable for this role, we're looking for you to hold a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field such as Engineering.

Along with this, we're also looking for you to bring the below into this role:

Experience working in a nuclear, engineering, construction and / or design office environment.
Experienced in complex multi organisational stakeholder management.
Knowledge of interface management within a complex engineering environment.
Proactive and confident in communicating with others, and ability to influence decisions.
Ability to effectively manage own workload, produce high quality documents and respect deadlines.
Working knowledge of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard requirements would be desirable.
