This is an exciting time at QEHKL, with a new hospital planned for 2030, and the NHS Long Term People Plan, setting out a clear vision for the future of People Services in our organisation.

We provide a comprehensive range of specialist, acute, obstetrics and community-based healthcare services to around 331,000 people across west and north Norfolk, in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire.

With more than 4,000 staff and volunteers, approximately 530 beds, and a helipad for air ambulances, we work with neighbouring hospitals for the provision of tertiary services, including as part of regional partnership and network models of care, such as the trauma network.

Some specialist services and clinics are provided in community facilities, such as our North Cambridgeshire Hospital in Wisbech.

Here at QEHKL our shared values of Kindness, Fairness, and Wellness, flow through the organisation, and these values shape how we deliver our NHS services in the local community, and help us deliver our vision to be the best rural District General Hospital for patient and staff experience.

We value diversity and recognise that the people who work for us are our greatest asset, and when they feel supported and happy in work this positivity reaches those very people we are here for - patients and their families.

We are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive organisation and ensuring that we harness the talents of all our staff in full.
