The position is based onsite and requires frequent travel across the agreed territory & occasionally overseas. There may be a requirement from time to time to work at Balmoral's Thurnscoe office.

A comprehensive training program will be implemented to equip individuals with the necessary skills and expertise required for the position of a tank installation supervisor.

The outlined role emphasizes the need for trainees to be cognizant of these prerequisites.

The training and hands-on experience provided will foster a progression from awareness to knowledge, knowledge to experience, and ultimately, experience to competence.

The goal is to attain a high level of competence within a three-year timeframe.

The supervisor's responsibilities encompass overseeing, supporting, and reporting on all sub-contracted tank installation and site services work assigned to them.

This involves mentoring and supervising sub-contracted installation teams, as well as conducting site surveys for project planning, estimation, and investigations.

Active engagement with customers is a crucial aspect of the role, involving communication with clients and sub-contracted tank installation companies to ensure safe work practices, adherence to project work scope, quality standards, agreed completion dates, and alignment with the core values of the business.

A particular emphasis is placed on customer service levels, which serve as a key differentiator for Balmoral in the competitive landscape.

The role is further reinforced by a dedicated administration team situated in the Thurnscoe manufacturing facility. Successful execution of the role demands high levels of initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.

Individuals occupying this position are expected to serve as ambassadors and role models for the business, reflecting its values and commitment to excellence.

Experience:

An awareness of steel bolted installation is required.
Awareness of Epoxy, glass and stainlesssteel bolted tank construction/erection to high quality standards is desirable.
Awareness plant & equipment, in particular mechanical jacks, their safe use maintenance and installation.
Experience of facetoface contact with customers and ability to represent Balmoral and uphold its core values.
