We are a busy 140 place nursery set in 5 acres of Woodland and are currently seeking a passionate and creative nursery practitioner to join our amazing team

You will be carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with children and their families, you would need to be competent in child observations and responsible for children's individual learning journals using electronic systems.

You will be working collaboratively within the team to ensure you have your say and can listen to ideas and suggestions and be able to work within the nursery ethos and practices.

You will be helping to provide high standards of quality care within the setting including an enriched environment, open ended resources and endless possibilities with a sense of awe and wonder in your individual planning to enhance all experiences offered to children, with an understanding of what children already know and building on what they can achieve next.

You will be an active key worker in ensuring that children settle in to nursery and be responsible for those first introductions into nursery and building parent partnerships you will need to know the child well to inform planning around their interests, schemers and next steps.

You will need to have good knowledge of the developing child and know when extra support is needed or early intervention required.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to succeed and wishes to continue to progress in their career. We provide both internal and external training to support you to reach your full potential.

The nursery is open 51 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 6pm. This position is full time, 40 hours a week. We close for the Christmas week

Starting holiday is 20 days plus bank holidays an additional day is added to celebrate your birthday.

We can depending on availability offer you childcare at a 25% daily reduction
