We are looking to recruit an Exam Invigilator with an approachable manner, with the ability to communicate with ease with staff and students.

This role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process.

In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, the successful applicants will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating during the exams and collating the exam papers to be sent off to the Exam boards.

Duties may include reading and scribing for students during exams.

Astrea Academy Dearne is an 11-16 secondary academy situated in Barnsley, with around 1150 students.

As an Examinations Invigilator, you will:

Distribute question papers, answer booklets and associated materials at the beginning of the examination and collect them in at the end.
Assist with the efficient timekeeping of examinations.

We are looking for individuals who have:

Experience of working with children and young people.
Good communication skills.
A flexible approach to working arrangements being able to work as and when required
