The growing and dynamic Infectious Diseases Service at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, broadly trained clinician to join the team.

The service is based at Wythenshawe Hospital.

The Infectious Diseases (ID) service consists of general ID, the NCG commissioned National Aspergillosis Centre and an outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) service.

The ID team includes seven Consultants (including this post), five clinical fellows, eleven specialist nurses, two Pharmacists and two Physiotherapists and are supported by the Service manager and other administrative and secretarial staff.

Dr Rohit Bazaz is the Lead for the Department. The successful applicant will work closely with all these individuals to deliver a seamless, excellent service for the patients.

The ID team works closely together with the Mycology Reference Centre Manchester located at Wythenshawe Hospital site. This is a NHS reference laboratory with 14 staff.
