Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting nurses, care assistants and support workers of all bands and specialties for acute, primary care and mental-health positions in the public and private sector across the United Kingdom and Ireland.


Direct Medics are recruiting for Band 3 Healthcare Assistants for 6 month block bookings and ad hoc shifts available in Muckamore Abbey Hospital.

There are a range of day and nights shifts available.

Fully paid intensive induction training will be given on each ward so staff are familiar with all areas. When residents are moved to community settings staff will also have the opportunity to move to a community-based role.


Safety Intervention training (formerly known as Mapa) is essential for these roles, however successful staff will be
paid to attend this training supplied by Direct Medics dedicated CPI accredited trainer.


Requirements:


  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a Support Worker role
  • Previous experience in mental health or a learning difficulty setting desirable but not essential
  • Safety Intervention Training is essential (Provided by Direct Medics if required)
  • Right to work in the UK
