Reed are delighted to be recruitment partner for a national school who provide rock and pop music lessons to primary age students.


Our client provides band lessons to tens of thousands of pupils and aims to inspire a love of music in an open and engaging environment that builds their confidence.


Based across a number of local primary schools, this is an excellent role for a confident musician looking to make a real impact working in the education sector, whilst benefiting from a full-time contract and extensive paid leave.

The Role:


  • Delivering inclusive weekly music lessons in a rock and pop band setting
  • Inspiring children and cultivating a real excitement for music
  • Offer children the opportunity to play an instrument and provide support with their learning and progress
  • Being a rolemodel to young people and motivating them to be empowered and confident
  • Daily administrative tasks as required
  • This is an active role which includes moving and setting up equipment

Skills:


  • Must be confident on at least 2 of drums, keyboard, guitar and vocal
  • Be passionate about education and teaching music
  • Experience in teaching is preferred but not essential as training is provided
  • Driving licence and own transport is required
