We offer a tailored, fast and frequent logistics service with countrywide coverage.

Our Maidstone depot is now recruiting a Stock and Admin Controller on a full time, permanent basis.


Salary:
up to £28,473 per annum (dependent on experience)


Shift:
Wednesday - Saturday,


Job Description:


Day to day management of the workload of site administration and stock control ensuring all issues are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner and to ensure that all tasks and outputs are carried out in a timely manner and to the required standard.


Key Duties of a Stock and Admin Controller:

  • To conduct driver pre-brief & de-brief to ensure that the customer delivery process is appropriately supported and that driver compliance and performance is reviewed & recorded.
  • To ensure that all Transport admin is completed on time, in full and accurately including but not limited to; Driver infringements, vehicle files, driver timesheets, POD paperwork etc.
  • Ensure any customer queries in relation to POD's, missing or returned items, nondeliveries or incorrect delivery date is dealt with.
  • Weekly paid colleague payroll administration.
  • Control, recording and reporting of Agency hours.
  • Providing support to HR team, taking notes at disciplinary and appeal hearings ensuring accuracy of information circulating notes in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all warehouse operational admin activity is completed on time, in full and accurately, including but not limited to; Inbound receipting, waving the pick, managing replenishment, resolving picking issues etc.
  • Carrying out physical stock checks when required and ensure that all stock anomalies are investigated thoroughly and reported accurately.
  • Recording and escalating any stock amendments as appropriate in a timely and professional manner.
  • To support the accurate collection and collation of data to compile KPI & performance reports daily / weekly / monthly.
  • Control the ordering and record keeping of operational support areas such as stationery, operational consumables, uniform and PPE.
  • Assist Warehouse or Transport Supervisors in any reasonable activity within the running of the operation including carrying out any other administrative duties accurately and within agreed timescales.

Qualifications:


  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
  • Experience of stock control processes within warehouse environment
  • Understanding of warehouse operations goods in, picking, dispatch
  • Experience of communicating with internal and external customers
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word
  • Experience of accurate data input
  • Experience of using WMS
  • Great communication skills
