We are seeking an experienced Customer Safety Executive to join our Exodus H&S team, part of our Adventure division at Travelopia. This is an exciting role for someone passionate about customer safety and adventure travel.

As a Customer Safety Executive at Exodus you will ensure our award-winning worldwide trips are of the highest standards of safety and quality.

Approximately 70% of their time and effort is focused on customer safety, and 30% on quality management processes.

To deliver these aims, the Customer Safety Executive will work closely with colleagues in the Operational Quality, Customer Services, and Product Teams as well as directly with our overseas local partners.

Exodus offers over 350 expertly crafted itineraries, across 100 destinations, on all seven continents.

In time, the role will require some overseas travel to visit and audit a selection of our suppliers and partners.

Expected to be between 10 and 25 days per year, normally taken in short trips of 5 to 10 days.

What you will be doing:

Monitoring and investigating safety concerns and implementing remedial actions. Conducting and assisting in postincident reviews for more significant issues
Plan, perform and followup agreed safety audit work of local operators, accommodation, activities and transport providers. This may include both remote and in person reviews
Rolling compliance checks with operators of highrisk trips including cycling holidays, high altitude and first aid requirements
Monitoring customer feedback collected and analysed through our Holiday Evaluation Forms
Maintaining standard Exodus supplier resources, such as Leader and Operator manuals and training platforms
Operational branding ensuring our local partners have appropriate branded items on Exodus trips

What we are looking for:

Direct or indirect experience of health and safety processes and management. Formal Health and Safety qualifications are not a requirement but are a benefit
A keen interest or direct understanding of Adventure Travel, or adventurous / outdoor activities
Experience in being flexible, and adaptable to change, remaining proactive and resourceful
Strong written and verbal communication skills
IT literate (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Quick problem solver who can easily assimilate new methods and tools
Loves to get their sleeves rolled up and be involved
