LGV Driver - About the Role:

Merkland Tank are looking for an LGV Driver with Jet Vac Recycler experience who will be responsible for a variety of tasks outside your vehicle, driving is only part of this excellent opportunity.

As part of our continual growth, we have invested in a brand new Muller Canalmaster. You will be responsible for daily operation and maintenance of this state of the art vehicle.

You will be deployed to a variety of industry sectors undertaking various, diverse operations utilising the full of this industry leading machinevehicle.

In addition to operating the vehicle, you will also form an integral part of our on-site operational team undertaking all duties associated with Industrial Cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities;

Working as part of the team, you'll have responsibility for setting up hoses and setting up safely on customer sites to support your drain cleaning colleagues.
You will be a part of a team working on essential infrastructure at commercial sites across mostly Scotland.
Driver daily checks on vehicle and plant
Ensure plant is operated in a safe and legal manner
Setting up and stripping out job
Operating Vacuum tankers, Liquid Ring tankers, and Jet Vac / Recycler
Removal and disposal of waste and clean out tanker.
Working away from home when required with generous overnight allowance

You need to be flexible as there can be early starts and late finishes, weekend working and working away from home.

LGV Driver - Skills & Experience:

Essential;

You must be an experienced Jet Vac / Recycler Operator
You will have to undergo a company medical for this post
Security clearance at MOD sites
Along with your Driver CPC and tachograph knowledge, you'll need experience of working with drainage systems
LGV 1 or 2 and Driver CPC
To be able to operate Muller, Kaiser Whale, Wiedeman, Cappelotto Jet Vac recyclers
Operating Vacuum / Liquid Ring tankers
First Aid
Water Jetting
Confined Space with rescue
