SEMH Support Assistant role based in a Bradford Specialist School.

  • Experience working with SEN pupils is a must.
  • A good knowledge of deescalation tactics is a must.
  • Work from January 2023


A lovely Primary School in Blackburn have approached Teaching Personnel to appoint a specialist member of support staff to work on a 1:1 basis with a child their reception class.

The child is part of the new school's cohort and requires academic and socialsupport.


The child will be expected to have an education plan for social, emotional, and mental health needs and so the school are keen to employ a member of staff with previous knowledge of how to complete regular updates.

The hours of this position are 8:45 to15:15.

The school has a positive Ofsted grading and has been oversubscribed for a number of years.

Behaviour at this school is exemplary and the Head Teacher is keen to recruit staff who understand the importance of maintaining high standards.

Additionally, manyof the staff have been there for numerous years due to the inclusive and warm atmosphere of the school.
