You will be part of a dedicated team, taking inbound calls, gathering and recording information, offering advice and guidance and ensuring that people are effectively connected to the right support for them.


This will be a demanding role and you will need to be a dynamic individual who is able to hit the ground running with a desire to improve the lives and well-being of the people in the Wakefield District.


As part of the team you will hold:

  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and the ability to learn new IT systems quickly and input data accurately.
  • An excellent telephone manner and customer service skills and experience.
  • The ability to communicate with a variety of customers.
  • Great team working skills with the ability to multi task and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working in Adult Social Care is challenging and rewarding, and our Customer Services Advisors undertake a vital role.

This post is a part time position working 24 hours per week.

This will preferably be split into three, 8 hour days working on a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday however there is some flexibility in this.
