About this role
In this role you'll act as a servant-leader with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

You will be confident and resilient and thrive in a high paced environment, ensuring the delivery aligns with the needs of the business, with a focus on quality and cost, whilst also being operational and maintainable.

You will be instrumental in making the BT TV service the best service available to our customers.


You will be expected to work with the various squads across the whole software lifecycle, taking products from their conception through to deployment and support in live, as well as to retirement, along with driving automation, improvements utilising your passion for technology with an agile delivery mindset.


Autonomously drive product delivery through working closely in the TV Tribe with Product, Engineering, Enabler tribes, Operational and third party teams to identify dependencies and release value as early as possible.

Identify improvements to process and service to improve the delivery of benefits for customers.

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Coordinates a diverse team to deliver medium sized, technical projects within a specific domain which enable benefits for customers across a portfolio of projects.
  • Leverages technical expertise to monitor all actions and activities, from scope to delivery, to ensure adherence to technical roadmap and time and budget constraints.
  • Partners with a range of internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, update on progress and achieve benefits.
  • Identifies opportunities to resolve risks and issues relating to delivery and any impacts on related components or teams.
  • Identifies and implements ways to improve team, process and service performance and suggests and implements changes to how team operates.
  • Collaborating with numerous squads across portfolio tribes, from Big Room Planning to regular Scrum of Scrums, aligning dependencies to deliver incremental value from development, test to live.
  • Actively contribute towards Squad and Tribe transformation, building a culture of continuous improvement, selfsufficiency, learning and transparency.
  • Facilitate agile events and champion agile best practice, coaching and serving the tribe utilising key metrics to provide predictability and high performing squads.

You'll have the following skills & experience

Must Have:


  • Experience in leading endtoend technical delivery of large complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, identifying dependencies, risks, issues, costs, and providing accurate reporting
  • Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean and DevOps frameworks, and tools such as Jira, Wiki
  • Understanding of Onprem, cloud and technologies, with specific interest in the technology stacks across the tribe and platforms to be able to add value to decision making in solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of agile frameworks and how to define and deliver product features collaboratively inorder to achieve business outcomes and value, with also an understanding of delivery in a waterfall environment

  • You conduct a deep review of data and issues to quickly reveal the root cause. You recommend short and longterm solutions to complex problems and follow through to make sure we solve them.

  • You coach and empower teams to anticipate and analyse obstacles in work processes. You support them to develop solutions and implement ways to improve processes and make things more efficient.
  • Ability to quickly spot dependencies and challenges, working with the team and cross squads providing options and removing blockers to focus on
