This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading, award-winning media agency which works with some of the UK's leading brands.

The company is looking to recruit a Finance Operations Lead who will be an integral member of the 14-strong finance team.

Reporting to the CFO, the succesful individual will lead a team of 5 and work collaboratively with other stakeholders across the business.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage and oversee financial/contract compliance audits, liaising with auditors and internal agency/group teams as we look to drive efficiencies and increasingly progressive management information.
  • Work closely with the CFO to improve reporting to the agency on commercial finance and key Working Capital KPI's.
  • Perform indepth reviews to ensure client contractual compliance and to identify areas of financial risk.
  • Provide key commercial information to stakeholders highlighting operating efficiencies, key systems improvements and make recommendations for improvements and corrective action.
  • Provide operational support to the client teams and specialist functions, working on improving late billings & unbilled media.
  • Work with the Shared Financial Service Centre to ensure effective working capital processes and to deliver accurate management information for reporting purposes.
  • Working with SFSC to ensure business continuity across all aspects of supplier relationships.
  • Act as an effective Coach/Mentor to members of the team, delegating to them and helping them to develop.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Prior experience using
    MEDIAOCEAN system is essential
  • Attention to detail, professional, well organised and willingness to learn.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Intermediate or above excel skills.
  • Work closely with Operations Executives to improve communications in the agency and to help develop them.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders such as the SFSC, agency management accountants and the other support teams / businesses.
  • Follow processes and show nonfinance staff how to follow process.
