We are actively seeking Junior technicians to join our highly skilled team.
Reporting to the BIM Manager, you will be a key member in a multi-disciplinary and versatile design team.
Your skills will be instrumental in delivering high quality Building Information Models using MEP Revit to support the Mechanical and Electrical design on a range of diverse projects within high end Residential, Education, and Commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings in Revit MEP as per client description
- Direct responsibility for the quality of Revit data produced
- Adhere to the company's Revit standards
- Maintain production Revit drawings to programmed time scales
- Plot drawings using the companies printing facility
- Liaise with BIM manager and project team for any Revit related issues
- Ensure Accurate referencing of drawings including updating revision status
- Assist the team to issuing the drawings in electronic or hard copies
- Build rapport with current and potential customers
- Take responsibility for the quality of own work and consider ways of improving work processes.
Criteria
Essential
- 5 GCSE's Grade C including Math & English
Desirable
- IT Qualification
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
- 1 Year experience as Revit Technician
Desirable
- Experience of using Revit to produce Coordinated HVAC systems
Abilities & Skills
Essential
- Keen interest and familiarisation of computers is required
- Organized and structured approach to your work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and cope with a varied portfolio of work
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of BIM Methodologies and UK BIM Standards
