About the Role

Base Location:
Cardiff or Reading


Salary:
£30,273 - £35,194 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.


Working Pattern: 12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available - this is a hybrid role working two days a week from the office.


What is the Role?


Working within the Smart Programmes team as the Smart Project Coordinator you will support the project management and senior team to achieve our Smart Goals.


As part of your role you will:

  • Assist the Smart Project Manager in gathering data and information in readiness to complete impact assessments to start projects.
  • Coordinate tasks for running project and align with the Integration manager to embed projects into business areas.
  • Keep a comprehensive log of actions, minutes from meetings timeline, event activities and RAG status.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with stakeholders, liaise with key business areas where projects may be deployed and document the outcome and findings to support ongoing work within Smart.
  • Create power point presentations, excel spreadsheets and documents to support projects and project briefs.

What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to lead conversations with the leadership team.
  • You'll be a proactive, organized selfstarter with a pragmatic approach.
  • Experience of working within a highly regulated fast paced environment would be advantageous.
  • Although not essential, it would be beneficial to have had experience in delivering projects and have a clear understanding of best practice of project governance timescales.
