Our product owner for car Insurance will be tasked with coordinating a cross-functional team to deliver against Atlanta's ambitious growth strategy for car insurance.


The cross-functional car Insurance team will analyse customer behaviour and market opportunities, define propositions, and deliver product, pricing, acquisition, and retention strategies.

Our Product Owner will be immersed in the day-to-day running of the team joins the dots, sees the gaps, flags issues and opportunities, and is a go-to person for decisions related to their product area and challenges everyone to make their product area better every day.


How will you do this?


You will develop new commercial propositions that will meet the car Insurance growth strategy, and translate these into products, processes, and customer experience.

Coordinating a cross-functional car Insurance team to ensure alignment of objectives and that prioritisation is effective and consistent with car Insurance and wider commercial outcomes.


Working with the Insight and Analytics team to monitor, analyse and challenge all car insurance-related activity and ensure optimal outcomes and effective decision-making.

You will find ways to acquire more, and more valuable, customers and continuously optimise critical stages of the customer lifecycle.


You will work closely with Aggregator Relations and Insurer Relations teams to identify new opportunities to support the product strategy you will also work with the Marketing team to develop and deliver acquisition and retention strategies across all channels to achieve plan targets and maximise customer numbers and value.


Also working with the pricing team to understand market dynamics, footprint and opportunities and the Digital Team to deliver an effortless customer experience that maximises customer acquisition, revenue, and retention.


With your analytical skills you will monitor relevant KPIs, define additional measures as appropriate, and ensure that objectives are achieved and ensure all strategies and plans are in line with regulatory guidelines and follow governance processes.


About you

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Intimate knowledge of the Car Insurance industry, distribution and products
  • Experience and expertise in assessing impact, cost and deciding priorities
  • Experience of how to assess customer needs and perceptions
  • Able to inspire and challenge a matrix team to deliver
